SUPPLIER OF PACKAGING MATERIALS AND RAW MATERIALS

MISSION

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the procurement of packaging materials and raw materials.

In this role, your main responsibilities are:

  • Order Management: Place orders with suppliers while optimizing current terms and conditions. Track order acknowledgments (delivery location, lead time, quantity, price).
  • Ensure that our subcontractors make deliveries on time.
  • Manage inventory receipts in our ERP system.
  • Review and Approve Invoices.
  • Work with the procurement specialist responsible for subcontracting.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate subcontractors' performance in terms of quality, timeliness, and cost.
  • Establish performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide regular activity reports to your manager.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels.
  • Participate in the year-end inventory counts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Propose solutions to improve procurement and supplier management processes.
  • Participate in projects and development initiatives aimed at improving tools and work methods.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  •  Experience: At least 3 years of experience in procurement, ideally in an industrial setting.
  • Organization: Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Analysis: Ability to analyze data and make decisions.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Tools: Proficiency in IT tools for procurement and inventory management (ERP, Excel, etc.).
    JOB PROFILE
  • Education: 2–5 years of post-secondary education in procurement management, logistics, or an equivalent field.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is preferred for communication with international subcontractors.
  • Personal qualities: Proactivity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to work independently.
