MISSION
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring outsourced procurement .
At , this title, your missions are:
- Order Management: Place orders with subcontractors. Monitor and approve subcontractors’ production schedules. Manage the receipt of finished goods into inventory in our ERP system. Review and approve invoices. Collaborate with the procurement specialist responsible for packaging materials and raw materials.
- Negotiation: Negotiate deadlines with subcontractors to meet our customers' needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate subcontractors' performance in terms of quality, timeliness, and cost.
- Establish performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. Provide regular activity reports to your manager.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and track specific operations in collaboration with the Logistics Manager.
- Participate in the year-end inventory counts.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose solutions to improve procurement and subcontractor management processes. Participate in projects to develop and improve tools and work methods.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally in an industrial setting involving subcontractor management.
- Organization: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Analysis: Ability to analyze data and make decisions.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
- Tools: Proficiency in IT tools for procurement and inventory management (ERP, Excel, etc.).
JOB PROFILE
- Education: 2–5 years of post-secondary education in procurement management, logistics, or an equivalent field.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is preferred for communication with international subcontractors.
- Personal qualities: Proactivity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to work independently.
